Acceptable Use Policy

Expected use

Coopsphere may be used to administer the lawful activities of a cooperative, association, savings group or similar member-based organization.

Prohibited activity

• Unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering or financing of illegal activity.
• Uploading malware or attempting to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the platform.
• Attempting to access data belonging to another organization, member or user without authorization.
• Collecting or storing personal information the organization has no lawful basis to hold.
• Harassment, hate speech, threats or abusive content in messages, announcements or documents.
• Sharing credentials or allowing unauthorized persons to use an account.
• Misrepresenting Coopsphere as a bank, deposit-taking institution or licensed financial institution.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, and will notify the organization's administrators where it is appropriate to do so.
